Responsibilities for Personal Care Officer
- Plan, coordinate and supervise the care and well-being of residents.
- Organise and implement programmes and activities to enhance residents’ quality of life.
- Conduct regular resident interviews and maintain accurate records.
- Monitor the upkeep of equipment, facilities and the overall environment.
- Ensure a clean, safe and comfortable environment for residents.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external service providers to address residents’ needs.
- Monitor residents’ general well-being and escalate concerns when necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation relating to residents’ care and daily activities.
- Support the implementation of operational policies, procedures and service standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications for Personal Care Officer
- Minimum Diploma or GCE ‘A’ Level qualification.
- Relevant experience in social services, residential care, nursing homes or supporting vulnerable individuals will be an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with residents.
- Patient, compassionate and comfortable working with individuals with different care needs.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Able to support residents with their daily care needs and activities.
