Role Summary
The Technical Infrastructure Project Manager & Solution Architect leads the design, planning, governance, and delivery of enterprise infrastructure initiatives. The role combines infrastructure architecture, project leadership, and stakeholder coordination to ensure modernization programs are delivered securely, efficiently, and in line with global standards.
The position connects Group Digital, regional and country IT teams, vendors, cybersecurity, and business stakeholders to drive infrastructure transformation, technical debt reduction, and operational excellence.
Role Split: Project & Program Management 70% | Solution Architecture 30%
Key Responsibilities
1. Infrastructure Project & Program Management (70%)
Lead infrastructure projects across cloud, network, data center, workplace, and cybersecurity domains.
Coordinate internal teams, vendors, Group Digital, and business stakeholders throughout project execution.
Manage project plans, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, resources, risks, and critical-path activities.
Track specific activities within Group Digital programs, including SASE/SSE, data center and cloud migrations, cybersecurity remediation, and infrastructure modernization.
Conduct governance and steering reviews and provide clear status, risk, and executive reporting.
Proactively manage issues, dependencies, decisions, and escalations.
Maintain complete, current, and auditable project documentation and deliverables.
2. Solution Architecture & Infrastructure Modernization (30%)
Act as the infrastructure subject matter expert across Azure, AWS, data centers and colocation, networking, SD-WAN, SASE/SSE, internet connectivity, servers, storage, virtualization, Active Directory/Entra ID, Microsoft 365, backup, and disaster recovery.
Develop High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation aligned with global standards.
Review infrastructure designs from vendors, delivery partners, and internal teams and translate approved designs into practical implementation and transition plans.
Drive infrastructure modernization, technical debt reduction, vulnerability remediation, and infrastructure risk reduction.
Establish governance for accurate IT asset inventory and ownership records.
Partner with Group Digital and regional IT teams to standardize infrastructure platforms and improve operational maturity.
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience
10+ years of IT infrastructure experience.
5+ years of solution or technical architecture experience.
5+ years of infrastructure project management experience.
Experience leading global infrastructure initiatives in matrix and multi-country organizations.
