Clinical Director

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Clinical Director to assist in leading our busy clinic. You will uphold high standards of patient care, oversee the smooth running of the clinic and support the ongoing development of our team. This role suits someone who pairs strong clinical knowledge with a genuine talent for leading people, and who wants to help the clinic continue to grow.

Leading the Team

  • Guide the clinical direction of the clinic and set the standard for the care we provide.
  • Mentor and support our practitioners in their professional development.
  • Create and maintain clinical guidelines that keep our care consistent and evidence-based.
  • Build a supportive, collaborative culture where the team can do their best work.
  • Raise and resolve any concerns about clinical performance or patient care early.

Running the Clinic

  • Oversee operations so the clinic runs efficiently and patients are seen on time.
  • Work with admin team to streamline workflows.
  • Manage clinic budgets, resources and practitioner schedules.
  • Make sure the clinic meets all healthcare regulations and professional standards, including professional guidelines for patient documentation.

Patient Care

  • Ensure every patient's experience meets the clinic's standards of care.
  • Take the lead on complex or escalated patient cases and see them through to a good outcome.
  • Review patient outcomes and feedback to find ways to improve.
  • Develop and review treatment programmes, including exercise and self-care advice for long-term health.
  • Assist patients with neuromusculoskeletal problems and help identify their physical ailments.

Growing the Practice

  • Identify opportunities to expand our services.
  • Support marketing and outreach activities, including health talks and events.
  • Develop strong relationships with referral partners and the wider healthcare community.

Working With Us

We are looking for someone highly motivated who is comfortable working the hours a busy clinic requires, including evenings and weekends. You will fit easily into our team of practitioners and take an active part in case discussions, practice meetings, clinical correspondence and the other ongoing activities that help build a strong professional network.

We run regular CPD sessions and training, and we expect all team members to take part and keep developing their skills. Ideally, you will be able to commit to at least two years with us and start soon. A positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills are essential.

What We're Looking For

  • A degree in a relevant allied health or healthcare field, with current registration with the relevant professional body where applicable.
  • At least 5 years of clinical experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience managing a clinical team and the day-to-day running of a clinic.
  • Postgraduate study or certifications in healthcare management would be an advantage.
  • A natural leader who communicates clearly and confidently with patients, colleagues and external partners.
  • Well organised, with a practical approach to solving problems.
  • A good working knowledge of healthcare regulations, patient safety and quality improvement.
  • Flexible and willing to take on other duties as the needs of the clinic require.
