Merchant Sales Specialist

This is a 12-month contract role under Optimum Solutions.

This role supports our client, a leading Southeast Asian superapp that offers a wide range of services, including mobility, food delivery, and digital payments.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM. (inclusive of a 1-hour lunch break)

Responsibilities

• You will prospect, pitch, and acquire merchants for payments products

• You will be accountable for merchant activity and engagement throughout their onboarding journey.

• You will stay informed about market knowledge, and competitor activity, to contribute to strategies that meet market changes and merchants' requirements.

• You will handle daily merchant queries (commercial and operational) and ensure a smooth onboarding and post-onboarding process.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in sales and/or at least 3 months of relevant sales experience

• Experience in cold-calling and/or canvassing, including door-to-door sales, is an advantage.
