HUMAN RESOURCES EXECUTIVE (PT MATERNITY COVER)

CHALLENGER TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED

We are looking for a HR Executive to provide maternity cover on a part-time basis, supporting the full scope of HR responsibilities, with the possibility of converting to FT. This is a hands-on role, offering broad exposure across recruitment, internship and part-time staff management, learning and development, employee support, and day-to-day HR operations.

Working Hours

Monday – Friday (09:00 AM – 6:30 PM) - 3 days per week

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for evergreen and corporate positions, including job posting, candidate sourcing and screening, interview coordination, selection, offer management, and onboarding.
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline to support ongoing manpower requirements.
  • Partner with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process to understand manpower needs and ensure timely hiring.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), including candidate information, recruitment documentation, reference checks, and background verification.

Internship & Part-Time Staff Management

  • Manage the end-to-end internship process, including intern recruitment, school coordination, onboarding, deployment, training, contract issuance, HRIS profile creation, and maintenance of intern records.
  • Manage the recruitment and onboarding of part-time (PT) staff, including contract issuance, HRIS profile creation, shift scheduling, onboarding workshops, and training arrangements.
  • Coordinate with outlet managers and schools on internship and PT-related matters, ensuring smooth deployment and ongoing administration.
  • Lead and coordinate learning and development initiatives for PT staff and interns, including training arrangements, logistics, onboarding programmes, and monitoring completion of required training.

HR Enquiries & Employee Support

  • Monitor and respond to HR-related enquiries through the internal ticketing system, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Provide general HR support and guidance to employees, managers, and other stakeholders on day-to-day HR matters.
  • Coordinate monthly employee movements with the insurance company, including updates for new joiners and resignees, and ensure employee records are kept up to date.

Reception & Administrative Support

  • Perform rotational reception duties, including attending to walk-in visitors, phone enquiries, and incoming deliveries and mail.
  • Provide general HR and administrative support across functions and assist with ad-hoc HR projects and assignments as required.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
  • Prior experience in a generalist HR role, with exposure to recruitment, internship/part-time staff management, and learning & development preferred.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of a broad range of HR responsibilities within the team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, managers, schools, and external stakeholders.
  • Available to work on a part-time basis for the duration of the maternity cover period.
