KDB+/q Developer
We are seeking an experienced KDB+/q Developer tojoin a front-office technology team supporting algorithmic andhigh-frequency trading.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize KDB+/q applications for real-time market data and trading.
- Design and maintain KDB+ Tick architectures for high-volume, low-latency processing.
- Build time-series analytics and data solutions across Equities, FX, Futures, and other asset classes.
- Optimize system performance, latency, and scalability.
- Work closely with quants, traders, and technology teams on trading strategies and analytics.
- Support testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and production environments.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of software development experience with strong KDB+/q expertise.
- Hands-on experience with KDB+ Tick, time-series databases, and low-latency systems.
- Strong Linux/Unix and scripting skills.
- Programming experience in Java, C++, or Python.
- Experience in capital markets, investment banking, electronic/algorithmic trading, or market data.
- Strong understanding of performance tuning and latency optimization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or related field.
