Senior Bar Supervisor (2-year Renewable Contract)

We are seeking an experienced and service-oriented Senior Bar Supervisor to oversee daily bar operations, guide the team and deliver high standards of beverage service and guest experience.
Job Responsibilities
Bar Operations
- Supervise daily operations, including bar setup, opening and closing procedures, POS handling and stock checks.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, hygiene requirements and service standards.
- Support F&B events, promotions and other operational requirements.
Guest Experience
- Deliver excellent customer service and recommend beverages based on guests’ preferences.
- Maintain good product knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits, beers and other beverages.
- Handle guest feedback and complaints promptly and professionally.
Beverage and Mixology
- Prepare and serve beverages according to approved recipes, presentation and portion standards.
- Support the development of signature drinks, seasonal offerings, beverage menus and promotions.
- Keep updated on beverage trends and encourage sales through suitable recommendations and upselling.
Inventory and Cost Control
- Monitor stock levels, support ordering and conduct regular stock counts.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and highlight stock discrepancies.
- Minimise wastage, breakage, over-pouring and shrinkage.
- Ensure proper storage, rotation, portioning and cost control.
Team Supervision and Training
- Supervise, brief and guide bar team members during operations.
- Train and coach employees on beverage knowledge, cocktail preparation, service standards and SOPs.
- Monitor grooming, attendance and operational performance.
- Promote teamwork and maintain a professional working environment.
Compliance and Safety
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, licensing and responsible alcohol service requirements.
- Ensure proper cleaning and handling of bar equipment, tools and glassware.
- Report incidents, safety concerns or non-compliance promptly.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma, GCE O Level, Certificate in Hospitality or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant bar or F&B operations experience.
- Supervisory and hands-on cocktail preparation experience are preferred.
- Bartending, mixology, wine or beverage certification is an advantage.
Knowledge and Skills
- Good knowledge of bar operations, beverages, inventory control and basic beverage costing.
- Strong cocktail preparation, customer service and guest engagement skills.
- Able to operate POS and inventory systems and handle payments and stock accurately.
- Good communication, team supervision, coaching and problem-solving skills.

- Able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment, independently and as part of a team.
- Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays and support F&B events when required.
