Speech Therapist (Full / Part-time)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide clinical supervision and consultation to enhance rehab service standards
- Assist in establishing evidence-based practice through guidelines, protocols and equipment
- Provide direct clinical service to a general or specialised group of patients
- Coordinate the rehab team to enhance manpower usage and maintain good rehab standards
- Follow up on improvements after auditing
- Support procurement of equipment and allocation
- Maintain equipment and its inventory
- Assist in organising staff and caseload coverage
- Assist in leading staff meetings related to rehab service standards
- Appraise junior staff
- Conduct incident investigation and reporting
- Assist in introducing measures to enhance efficiency and work safety
- Follow up on individual staff training plans
- Assist in organising drills and audits to ensure staff competency
- Coordinate departmental in-service training planning, projects and individual training plans to progress rehab development
- Enhance staff specialisation and skillsets
- Assist in building up successors at different levels
- Assist in leading research activities and projects
- Recognised Master's in Speech Therapy
- Full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council
- More than 5 years of experience as a Speech Therapist in a community setting
- Experience in project management preferred
- Able to work well in a team and independently
- Competent in using Microsoft Office software
- Strong management, leadership and problem-solving skills
