Frontend Developer

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain complex web experiences across Chat, Notes, Calendar, Docs and Sheets.
• Develop interactive features including real-time messaging, collaborative editing, rich-text editing, scheduling, tables and spreadsheets.
• Design and maintain reusable frontend architecture and components across AI applications.
• Integrate streaming AI responses, proactive actions and AI-driven workflows into product experiences.
• Optimise frontend performance, responsiveness, reliability and accessibility across browsers and devices.

Requirements

• Strong production experience with React.js, TypeScript and modern frontend technologies.
• Strong knowledge of frontend architecture, state management, browser APIs and performance optimisation.
• Experience building complex interactive web applications such as chat, collaboration, productivity, document editing, calendars or workspaces.
• Experience with real-time systems, WebSockets, streaming APIs or collaborative interfaces.
• Proficiency with Next.js, HTML/CSS, Node.js and REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Experience taking frontend features from technical design through implementation and production, with a focus on maintainable and reusable architecture.
