Roles and Responsibilities

• Surface Preparation: Clean floors and walls, remove old tiles or adhesive, fill cracks, and level uneven bases using cement, plaster, or screeds
• Layout and Measurement: Read blueprints or design drawings, measure areas, and mark accurate guidelines to ensure straight and even patterns.
• Cutting and Shaping: Cut tiles using hand or power tools to fit tightly around corners, pipes, and obstacles.
• Tile Installation: Mix and spread mortar, adhesive, or glue onto bases, then press and tap tiles into position with proper spacing.
• Grouting and Sealing: Apply grout into joints, wipe away excess material, and polish or seal the finished surface for durability.
• Waterproofing and Repairs: Apply waterproofing membranes in wet areas like bathrooms, and replace cracked or misaligned tiles.
• Site Safety and Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, handle heavy tools safely, and follow construction site regulations.
