Job Summary
Join Crossinvest (Asia) as an Intern supporting our Investment Team. Gain hands-on experience in trade execution, portfolio analysis, and investment strategy within a dynamic, Swiss-rooted asset and wealth management firm. Our Internships will run between 1-3 months, and successful candidates will be offered full time Portfolio Analyst positions.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze investment data to support decision-making in Investment meetings
- Execute trades on client accounts accurately and provide operational support to ensure smooth transactions
- Perform portfolio data reconciliations to maintain accuracy in portfolio management systems
- Calculate performance attribution for client accounts to evaluate investment outcomes
- Monitor investment performance of individual securities and their interactions within portfolios to manage correlations and control risk
- Track market developments to inform Portfolio Managers in formulating effective investment strategies
- Analyze financial statements and quantitative data to build financial models that identify relative value and construct positive risk-return profiles
- Assist in preparing periodic investment reports and client portfolio reviews to communicate performance and insights
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with a cosmopolitan mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and ability to quickly learn financial systems such as Bloomberg
- Genuine interest in capital markets demonstrated through meticulous and entrepreneurial approach
- Candidates studying for or having passed CFA Levels 1 & 2 or holding equivalent professional qualifications preferred
- Minimum Bachelor's degree, preferably in economics, finance, accounting, or business
