Electrical Maintenance

Carry out routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of building electrical systems.

Maintain lighting, power outlets, switches, distribution boards, and electrical panels.

Replace faulty lamps, switches, sockets, breakers, cables, and other electrical components.

Troubleshooting & Repairs

Identify and rectify electrical faults, short circuits, power failures, and tripping issues.

Attend emergency electrical breakdowns and restore services safely.

Use appropriate electrical testing equipment to diagnose faults.

Preventive Maintenance

Conduct scheduled inspections of electrical installations and equipment.

Check cables, connections, circuit breakers, earthing systems, and electrical panels.

Maintain preventive maintenance records and report defects requiring further attention.

Building Services

Maintain electrical systems supporting air-conditioning, ventilation, pumps, lifts, fire alarm systems, and other building services as applicable.

Assist other maintenance teams with electrical requirements.

Safety

Follow electrical safety procedures and safe working practices.

Isolate and lock out electrical supplies before carrying out maintenance work where required.

Ensure proper earthing and protection of electrical equipment.

Use appropriate PPE and electrical tools.
