Job Description
- Processing of enquiries/ RFQ and understanding clients requirements
- Sourcing of supplies and vendor management
- Preparation of quotations
- Coordinating with internal/external parties to ensure prompt delivery
- Track order status and manage lead times proactively
- Arrange freight bookings and export documentation
- Identify and flag abnormal or high-risk orders
- Ensure compliance with all critical processes (no shortcuts)
Requirements
- Experience in Purchasing required
- Minimum GCE N, O level or Diploma
- Relevant experience in ship chandelling environment an added advantage
- Ambitious with good interpersonal skills
- Computer literate
- Diploma holders without experience are welcome, training will be provided
- Salary will commensurate with working experience
- Working hours: Mon to Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm / Sat: 8.30am to 12.30pm (Alternate Saturday off)
