Global Logistics Implementation Assistant Manager [EL]

The Role

We are looking for an experienced logistics professional to manage customer implementation projects and support the delivery of operational and technology solutions across regional and global freight forwarding operations.

What You Will Do

• Manage end-to-end customer implementation projects across air, ocean, road and rail freight.
• Coordinate with customers, Operations, IT, Legal and other stakeholders throughout the implementation process.
• Gather customer requirements and translate them into practical SOPs and eSOPs.
• Support logistics system implementation, including requirements gathering, SIT/UAT, testing, deployment and post-go-live activities.
• Track project timelines, deliverables, resources, risks and changes.
• Provide regular project updates and facilitate implementation meetings.
• Coordinate operational and system training for relevant teams and stakeholders.
• Support post-implementation governance, KPI tracking and operational performance reviews.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardisation and service-quality enhancement.
• Support customer EDI and logistics technology integration initiatives.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in freight forwarding, logistics operations, project implementation or key account management.
• Strong understanding of international freight forwarding and supply chain processes.
• Experience with logistics systems or technology implementation.
• Strong project management, analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder-management and communication skills.
• Ability to work across multiple functions, markets and project teams.
• Strong change-management and continuous-improvement mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with CargoWise, SAP, TRAX, EDI or other logistics technology platforms would be advantageous.
