Key Responsibilities
Project Engineer
Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned projects to ensure timely completion and adherence to budget requirements.
Ensure compliance with engineering standards, industry best practices, QA/QC procedures, and technical specifications throughout the project lifecycle.
Liaise with clients regularly to understand project requirements, address concerns, and provide updates on project progress.
Oversee project activities including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and quality control to ensure successful project delivery.
Work closely with the Project Manager and cross-functional teams to meet project milestones and provide technical support when required.
Review engineering deliverables and project documentation to ensure they meet project specifications and quality standards.
Identify potential issues and implement corrective actions to maintain project performance and timelines.
Prepare and submit progress reports and updates to management and relevant stakeholders.
Assistant Electrical Test Engineer
Lead and coordinate a small team to perform testing for low-voltage switchboards and power distribution boards.
Ensure testing procedures and safety standards are followed.
Check and verify testing reports and checklists for accuracy.
Conduct factory acceptance tests (FAT) and witness tests with clients when required.
Perform in-house testing and quality inspections including visual checks and torque tests.
Ensure all testing tools and equipment are properly maintained and calibrated.
Work with project and quality teams to resolve technical issues and improve processes.
Support training for new staff on testing procedures and safety guidelines.
Requirements
Min Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
Basic knowledge of electrical drawings
Able to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience in LV switchboards, electrical testing, power distribution systems or project coordination will be advantageous.
