Software Engineer (Banking, Insurance, Java, AWS IAM, Microservices, Lambda, Kafka, Terraform, Mockito, Hibernate, Maven, Kubernetes)

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Design and develop microservices and REST APIs for enterprise applications.
- Build and integrate event-driven services using Kafka and messaging platforms.
- Develop cloud-based applications using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, S3, and RDS/Aurora.
- Design and optimize database solutions using PostgreSQL, SQL, Hibernate/JPA, and DynamoDB.
- Implement application security using Spring Security, IAM, KMS, and authentication mechanisms.
- Develop containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
- Implement automated build, testing, and deployment using GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Maven, and Gradle.
- Develop and maintain unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito and troubleshoot application issues.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure software solutions.
Requirements
- 14+ years of strong experience in software development and enterprise application development.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot, Hibernate, Gradle etc.
- Strong experience developing microservices and REST APIs.
- Strong experience with AWS cloud services, particularly Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, and RDS/Aurora.
- Hand on experience in CloudWatch, Athena, SNS, RDS, Route53 etc.
- Strong experience with Kafka and event-driven architecture.
- Strong experience in Terraform, SonarQube.
- Strong experience with SQL/PostgreSQL and Hibernate/JPA.
- Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
- Strong experience with Spring Security, IAM, and cloud security practices.
- Strong experience with GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Maven, and Gradle.
- Strong experience with JUnit and Mockito for automated testing.
- Strong experience in banking, financial services, insurance, or other enterprise applications.
