Facilities Maintenance Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day maintenance, operation and upkeep of office facilities, laboratories, technical workspaces and associated building infrastructure.
• Perform troubleshooting of basic facilities systems and equipment, identifying issues and coordinating timely repairs to minimize operational disruptions.
• Liaise and coordinate directly with the landlord, contractors and internal stakeholders for all ongoing repairs and scheduled maintenance.
• Escort and supervise facilities management contractors across a range of services (e.g., air conditioning, grease trap cleaning, lab equipment vendors etc.)
• Oversee contractors’ activities to verify works are completed in accordance with safety and site regulatory requirements as well as agreed service levels through witness testing
• Monitor the Building Management System (BMS) regularly to ensure optimal performance.
• Escalate and report system outages, equipment failures and critical facility issues to the Facilities Manager and relevant service providers, ensuring timely resolution.

• Coordinate annual facility shutdown work with the landlord, contractors and Kerry stakeholders for maintenance work with minimal impact to operations.
• Coordinate with the landlord and Kerry stakeholders for emergency response situations and drill exercise.
• Execute other duties as assigned by management when necessary.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 10 years of facilities management experience, with hands-on exposure to laboratory environments and critical technical infrastructure.

• Experience supporting laboratory, R&D, food manufacturing, chemical or technical environments preferred.

• Relevant safety certifications are strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with Singapore workplace safety and facilities compliance requirements.

• Working knowledge of BMS systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
