Preschool Art Teacher

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct engaging Art lessons for children aged 18 months to 6 years.
• Foster children's creativity, imagination, self-expression, and appreciation of the arts through hands-on experiences.
• Prepare lesson plans and learning materials aligned with the school's curriculum and developmental goals.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and child-friendly learning environment.
• Observe and document children's progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents where appropriate.
• Maintain and organise art resources, equipment, and learning spaces.
• Work collaboratively with classroom teachers to integrate art into classroom learning.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children during lessons.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education, Fine Arts, Performing Arts, or a related discipline.
• Experience teaching art and/or music to preschool-aged children is preferred.
• Passionate about working with young children.
• Creative, enthusiastic, patient, and nurturing.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Able to sing confidently and lead music and movement activities.
• Proficient in using a variety of art media and teaching techniques.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
