IT Cloud Operations Manager

APAR TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD.

Manage Azure and GCP cloud and infrastructure operations for the Asia region.
Coordinate with the cloud managed-service partner and act as the operational escalation point to the central team.
Support cloud landing zones, middleware platforms, infrastructure upgrades and lifecycle management.
Contribute to Azure File Share and Disaster Recovery initiatives and Windows Server 2016 end-of-life remediation.
Monitor infrastructure health, capacity, availability, backup and restoration activities.
Support Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) and business continuity activities, including regular validation.
Apply operational FinOps practices to monitor cloud usage, costs, trends and anomalies.
Provide operational support for middleware platforms, including monitoring, access administration, incident coordination and vendor escalation.
Provide cloud on-call coverage for the Asia time zone.
Support knowledge transfer and contribute to central operations under a follow-the-sun operating model when required.
Work with internal IT teams, regional IT managers, Microsoft, Google Cloud and external service providers.

Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
Relevant experience in cloud operations, infrastructure operations or cloud engineering.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Experience managing cloud managed-service providers or external technology partners.
Experience with Windows Server, Hyper-V and Microsoft PKI.
Knowledge of Active Directory, Okta, IDP and SSO.
Experience with cloud monitoring, incident management and operational support.
Knowledge of landing-zone operations and cloud infrastructure fundamentals.
Understanding of FinOps and cloud cost monitoring.
Experience supporting middleware platforms such as MuleSoft and SFTP is preferred.
Knowledge of backup, restoration, Disaster Recovery and business continuity processes.
