Electrical Site Engineer (UPS)

• Location: Macpherson
• Monday - Saturday: 8.30am - 6pm
• Basic + Completion bonus + Variable Bonus

An established Singapore-based engineering and construction company specialising in large-scale electrical and M&E infrastructure projects, including commercial, industrial and transportation developments.

Job Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and single-line diagrams.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and site teams to ensure smooth and timely execution of electrical works.
• Review contract specifications, drawings and project requirements, and prepare variation orders where required.
• Assist with electrical engineering design, load calculations and fault-level calculations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to UPS installation, testing and commissioning.
• Ensure installation works comply with approved shop drawings, method statements, project specifications and relevant Singapore standards.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor workmanship, quality and progress.
• Attend regular site meetings with clients, consultants and subcontractors to discuss and resolve site matters.
• Coordinate with Project, Site and Construction Managers on project progress, manpower and site activities.
• Assist in planning and monitoring project schedules to ensure timely completion.
• Prepare and maintain relevant site documentation, technical records and progress reports.
• Support testing, commissioning and handover activities upon project completion.

Requirements

• Nitec in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 1 year of experience in UPS-related projects, electrical works or site coordination is preferred.
• Experience in project management and site coordination for industrial or commercial projects.
• Experience working on MRT or major infrastructure projects will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of electrical design, load calculations and fault calculations.
• Experience with street lighting or electrical design works will be an added advantage.
• Fresh graduates with relevant Electrical Engineering qualifications are welcome to apply.
• Able to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and single-line diagrams.
• Good communication, coordination and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with good attention to detail.
• A team player who is able to work independently on site.
• Willing to work a 6-day work week and be based at project sites.
