Electrical Quantity Surveyor

Location: Macpherson

Working Hours: Mon - Fri, 9am - 6pm

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial and cost aspects of electrical projects. You will be involved in tender preparation, cost estimation, quantity measurement, claims and contract administration, while working closely with project teams, contractors and consultants.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare quotations, cost estimates and tender submissions for electrical works.
• Review drawings, specifications, tender documents and project requirements.
• Carry out quantity take-offs and measurements for electrical works.
• Prepare and manage progress claims, variation orders and final accounts.
• Track project costs and support effective budget and cost control.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations and negotiate commercial terms.
• Liaise with main contractors, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers on project and commercial matters.
• Maintain accurate records for contracts, claims, variations and project documentation.
• Work closely with Project Managers on costing, budget monitoring and commercial matters.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of Singapore experience as an Electrical QS.
• Experience with M&E / electrical subcontractors preferred.
• Good knowledge of electrical systems, construction drawings and project costing.
• Familiarity with Singapore construction practices, tendering and contract administration.
• Experience in new build and A&A projects is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with good commercial awareness and the ability to manage multiple projects or deadlines.
