Part-Time Teaching Specialist

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head ofTeaching and Curriculum, you will be taking on enrichment/ tuition classes at astipulated timing.

1. Curriculum & Lesson Delivery

• Delivertuition and enrichment lessons aligned with MOE syllabus and learningobjectives
• Implementstructured teaching approaches to develop conceptual understanding andapplication skills
• Work closelywith the Head of Teaching & Curriculum to ensure consistency and quality oflesson delivery

2. Student Development

• Teach, coach, and support students to achieve their academic potential
• Foster curiosity, confidence, and a positive attitude towards learning
• Identify individual learning gaps and adapt teaching strategies accordingly

3. Assessment & Progress Tracking

• Mark assignments and provide clear, constructive feedback
• Monitor and track student progress regularly
• Prepare students for school assessments and major examinations (e.g. WA, EOY, PSLE)

4. Parent Communication

• Build strong relationships with parents through regular updates
• Communicate student progress, strengths, and areas for improvement
• Partner with parents to support each child’s learning journey

5. Team Collaboration

• Collaborate with the academic team to refine teaching strategies and materials
• Participate in training and professional development sessions
• Contribute to continuous improvement of curriculum and programmes

Qualifications

• At least possess 1 year & above on relevant teaching or writing experience. Fresh graduates are welcome.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in related field
• Passion for education, learning, and writing
• Genuine interest and enthusiasm in interacting with children
• Possess working knowledge and expertise of the Singapore education system
• Creative, meticulous, and driven individual
• Good time management, ability to work independently
• Collaborator with excellent communication skills
• Flexible, and able to manage change and ambiguity well
