English / English Literature Teacher (Secondary) [NEW ACADEMIC YEAR - JANUARY 2027]

[FOR THE 2027 ACADEMIC YEAR (COMMENCING JANUARY 2027)]

We are seeking qualified and trained Education Officers to join the English Language / English Literature Department as English / English Literature Teachers, commencing January 2027.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

• Plan for and conduct English / English Literature lessons

• Form Teachership and CCA duties

• Monitor and evaluate the progress and overall development of the students

• Keep up with the developments of the subject area, new resources, pedagogies and assessment and contribute to departmental efforts in finetuning teaching and learning resources

• Teach, inspire and motivate students according to their individual pace and aspirations to their fullest potential

• To develop strong moral fibre and integrity among our students

Requirements

• Recognised Degree or professional qualification in the chosen or related discipline

• Formal teaching qualifications such as NIE PGDE Diploma

• At least 3 years of teaching experience at the Secondary level

• Strong passion for helping students develop as confident and purposeful individuals

• Strong sense of integrity, personal drive and initiative, commitment and team spirit

• Caring, responsible, driven and innovative

Successful candidates will be offered contract employment first. Remuneration shall commensurate with qualifications and experience.
