Software Engineer (Trading Platform, FIX Protocol, Shell Scripting, Java, Capital Markets, AMQ)

Develop and maintain Java applications, services, and integrations for electronic trading platforms.
Support FIX Protocol integrations and connectivity with brokers, trading venues, and external counterparties.
Perform Linux/Unix administration, troubleshooting, and Shell/Python scripting for application support and automation.
Support application deployment, production implementation, CI/CD, and release management.
Troubleshoot production and connectivity issues, perform root cause analysis, performance tuning, and optimization.
Support Capital Markets/Electronic Trading applications across monitoring, resiliency, operational improvements, and production support.

5+ years of experience in Java development and application support, preferably in electronic trading environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Strong hands-on experience with Java and Electronic Trading Platforms, including distributed and high-throughput applications.
Experience with FIX Protocol (FIX 4.x/5.x) and trading platform integrations with brokers and trading venues.
Strong Linux/Unix administration, troubleshooting, and Shell/Python scripting experience.
Experience with CI/CD, deployment, release management, production support, and root cause analysis, including performance tuning.
Strong knowledge of Capital Markets/Treasury & Markets, including FX, Fixed Income, or Equities, with SQL and relational database experience.
