CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and supervise daily construction activities.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Manage site workers, supervisors, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Monitor project progress and ensure work meets the approved schedule.
• Ensure construction work follows approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Implement and enforce workplace safety and health requirements.
• Monitor project costs, manpower, materials, equipment, and resources.
• Coordinate site inspections and resolve construction issues.
• Review construction drawings and identify technical or site problems.
• Conduct regular site meetings and provide project progress updates.
• Manage subcontractors and ensure work is completed according to contract requirements.
• Coordinate material deliveries and ensure sufficient resources are available on site.
• Prepare progress reports, schedules, and other project documentation.
• Identify potential delays and implement corrective actions.
• Liaise with relevant authorities when required.
• Ensure the project is completed according to the required quality, safety, cost, and timeline targets.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in construction project management.
• Strong leadership and site management skills.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, safety requirements, and project coordination.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to manage multiple activities and work under pressure.
• Experience managing workers, subcontractors, and construction teams.
