Systems Programmer (Lotus Domino Administration, SharePoint Administration, Windows Server, Linux Server, Server Troubleshooting, Server Patching)

Responsibilities

A) Manage and Support of Domino Servers

• Support and troubleshoot mail and server issues, such as mail routing, mail agents and other mail server related issues.
• Support users’ requests for creation of databases, replications, messaging (mail, SMS, Page) requests; and other similar Domino’s service requests.
• Assist in the monitoring and maintenance of the Domino servers to ensure availability of the services to users.
• Assist in the evaluation of new products and technologies to enhance or improve the integrated office systems infrastructure.
• Assist in the provisions of statistics on Domino servers availability and other server related statistics and update of mail virus pattern files.
• Coordinate with Project Teams in the analysis, presentation and management of IT operations date and statistics.

B) Manage and Support of Sharepoint Infrastructure

• Setup and customise of several Sharepoint Farm comprising of Webfront, Application and SQL servers.
• Support and troubleshoot of Sharepoint Farm issues.
• Provision and support of users’ requests for creation of new web applications, site collections and related day-day Sharepoint service requests.
• Assist in the monitoring and maintenance of the Sharepoint farm servers to ensure availability of the services to users.
• Assist in the risk management evaluation of new Sharepoint version for future Sharepoint upgrade plans.
• Assist in the provisions of statistics on Sharepoint servers’ availability.
• Coordinate with Project Teams in the analysis, presentation and management of IT operations date and statistics.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant experience in relevant field.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Windows Server Administration, including Windows OS and server setup and maintenance.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Linux Server Administration, including Linux OS and server setup and maintenance.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Lotus Domino Administration, including setup and maintenance.
• Hands-on experience in Server Patching & Troubleshooting, particularly Windows and Linux patching and server issue resolution.
• Hands-on experience in SharePoint Server Administration, including SharePoint Farm setup, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge or experience in VMware Horizon View Virtual Desktop Administration, including setup and maintenance, is preferred.
• Experience in server monitoring, maintenance, availability and performance management.
• Experience in supporting infrastructure service requests, upgrades and technology evaluation activities.
