Technician Executive

We are looking for a hands-on Technical Executive to join our technical and installation team. The role is primarily site-based and involves the installation, testing, servicing and troubleshooting of curtain, blind, shade, track and motorised window furnishing systems at residential and commercial project sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform site measurements, prepare sites, and conduct technical assessments before installation to ensure accuracy and readiness
• Install curtains, blinds, shades, tracks, and motorised window furnishing systems according to specifications
• Test, adjust, and commission manual and motorised systems to ensure proper functionality
• Troubleshoot, service, and repair installed systems independently to maintain system performance
• Read and interpret site measurements, technical drawings, and installation requirements to guide work execution
• Coordinate with salespersons, project teams, customers, and other installers to complete work on schedule and meet quality standards
• Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently to carry out installation tasks
• Conduct testing and final inspections before project handover to ensure compliance with standards
• Follow workplace and site safety protocols and maintain cleanliness and orderliness at work areas
• Perform additional technical and installation-related duties as assigned to support project completion

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Hands-on installation or relevant technical experience preferred
• Experience in curtains, blinds, building products, interior fit-out, mechanical installation, or related trades is advantageous
• Basic knowledge of electrical or motorised systems is a plus
• Ability to understand measurements and basic technical/site drawings
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
