Full-Stack Engineer (Cloud & DevOps)

At Xtremax, we build mission-critical digital platforms and software solutions for public sector and enterprise clients. We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Full-Stack Engineer with strong DevOps, cloud observability, and deployment automation expertise to join our project delivery team.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain AWS CloudWatch Synthetics Canaries and related monitoring tools to establish proactive visibility into application health, performance metrics, logs, and alerts.
• Collaborate closely with application and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve availability and performance issues identified through observability solutions.
• Plan, execute, and validate the migration of existing managed CI/CD runners to GovTech-managed runners, assessing build environments, dependencies, and deployment configurations.
• Design, develop, and maintain backend integration components, including the setup and maintenance of Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and APIs for secure AI-enabled platform integrations.
• Implement robust authentication, authorization, API management, data transformation, and error handling mechanisms across interconnected systems.
• Establish, configure, and manage CI/CD deployment pipelines using SHIP-HATS for both new and existing applications.
• Review application deployment architecture and progressively transition manually managed infrastructure towards Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using reusable templates and automation scripts.
• Provide operational support and troubleshooting across application, pipeline, and infrastructure layers to ensure high availability and consistency across all environments.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Preferably 3–5 years of relevant hands-on experience in application infrastructure, DevOps, cloud engineering, platform engineering, or application operations.
• Strong practical experience supporting production applications, CI/CD pipelines, source code repositories, and deployment automation.
• Proven familiarity with cloud architectures (AWS), application observability, and operational performance monitoring tools.
• Prior hands-on experience with Singapore Government ICT/GCC environments and Government Tech Stack platforms (such as SHIP-HATS, StackOps) is highly advantageous.
