Project Engineer (GB1)

Responsibilities

Manage overall project delivery, including planning, scheduling and execution.
Track drawing progress and coordinate with design and production teams to resolve technical issues.
Liaise with internal and external production teams on precast production, delivery and quality matters.
Conduct joint inspections with the main contractor and production engineer at project sites and precast yards to identify drawing, production and quality issues.
Communicate with clients daily to understand their needs and requirements and represent their interests on site.
Monitor project quality and performance, including budget, schedule, plans and personnel performance, and provide regular progress updates.
Attend weekly site meetings and address site requests relating to precast works.
Work closely with the Project Manager and other project stakeholders to provide coordination and technical support.

Requirements

Knowledge of building and structural details and local construction practices, with the ability to interpret drawings and assist in resolving technical and quality issues.
Familiarity with tender and bidding processes, engineering standards, and local building, construction and safety regulations.
Ability to coordinate precast project activities across design, production, delivery and site teams.
Able to attend site meetings and conduct inspections at construction sites and precast yards.
