At FairPrice Group, we believe that great shopping experiences start with thoughtful product placement. We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Space Planning & Planogram Executive to help optimise how products are displayed across our retail stores.
Key Responsibilities
Space Planning & Planogram Management
Develop, implement and maintain planograms across assigned product categories, ensuring alignment with merchandising guidelines and business objectives.
Optimise shelf space allocation, product placement and assortment to drive sales, profitability and product availability.
Maintain accurate product information and image libraries to support effective planogram development.
Ensure timely rollout of planograms across different store formats.
Category Analysis & Performance Optimisation
Analyse category performance across store formats to identify opportunities for improvement.
Prepare category assessments, assortment optimisation reports and performance insights to support commercial decision-making.
Support annual category reviews by providing data-driven recommendations on product placement, assortment and shelf allocation.
Identify emerging shopper trends and opportunities to enhance in-store product navigation and shopping experiences.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Process Improvement
Partner with Category Managers, Commercial and Store Operations teams to develop effective merchandising and display solutions.
Coordinate planogram implementation projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve planning tools and accelerate speed to market.
Leverage planogram software and data platforms to improve reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
What We're Looking For
Degree in any discipline. Diploma holders with relevant experience are also welcome to apply.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the retail industry, preferably in space planning, planogram development, merchandising or category management.
Experience using space management or planogram software, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
Excellent organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across different levels of the organisation.
Detail-oriented, resourceful and solution-driven, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving retail environment.
