Delivery driver (Class 3)

Primary job scope.

1. Loading and Unloading: Check with document orders, sort, pack and load goods onto the delivery vehicle, and unload them safely at each destination to customers. Assist in unstuffing when imported goods arrived.
2. Route Navigation: Use GPS or local maps to plan and follow efficient delivery routes. Familiar with Singapore routes.
3. Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip safety and cleanliness checks (tires, fuel, fluid levels) and report mechanical issues.
4. Documentation: Verify delivery orders, invoices, and payment/cash collections, and obtain customer signatures or digital proof of delivery.
5. Customer Interaction: Greet clients politely, answer basic inquiries, and handle on-site delivery issues or feedback.
6. Safety Compliance: Follow local traffic laws and road safety regulations at all times.

Requirements & Qualifications

• License: Valid local driving license (e.g., Singapore Class 3 driving license for light goods vehicles).

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of driving with delivery experience preferred.

• Physical Fitness: Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy (~10kg/carton) or bulky packages.

• Language & Communication: Basic command of Chinese for reading delivery orders and communicating with customers or dispatch.

• Tech Skills: Familiarity with smartphone navigation apps (GPS) and digital proof-of-delivery tools.

• Character: Clean driving record, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility.

• Work well in a team.

Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary Range: $1,800-$2,000 per month

• Allowances & Perks: Often includes phone allowances, fuel/diesel cards, or company-provided vehicles.

• Working Hours: Typically 5 days per week (e.g., Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM with overtime options).
