Junior Algorithm Engineer

Responsibilities

1.Navigation Algorithm Development

a.Participate in the development of global path planning, local obstacle avoidance and dynamic-environment-adaptive algorithms for surface/underwater robotic pool cleaners (e.g., complex pool corners, step transitions).

b.Participate in robot algorithm performance optimization and issue fixing.

2.System Debugging & Engineering

a.Participate in sensor calibration, data collection and system integration testing.

b.Write technical documentation.

Requirements

1.Education & Major: Master's degree with 0–2 years of relevant experience in Automation, Control Engineering, Navigation, Guidance and Control, Vehicle Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics or related fields.

2.Core Skills:

a.Proficient in C++ programming with development experience in Linux environments; familiar with third-party libraries such as Eigen and OpenCV.

b.Familiar with the ROS (Robot Operating System).

c.Solid mathematical foundation, with mastery of linear algebra, nonlinear optimization and Kalman filtering.

3.Project Experience:

a.Experience in robot navigation/control algorithm development (e.g., competitions, research projects or open-source projects).

b.Knowledge of multi-sensor fusion (LiDAR, IMU, ultrasonic, etc.) is preferred.
