Associate Engineer (Fire Lab)

Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation and execution of fire testing projects in accordance with applicable standards and laboratory procedures.
- Set up test specimens, equipment, and instrumentation for testing activities.
- Monitor tests, collect and record data, and assist in the preparation of test reports and documentation.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
- Coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders to support project delivery and resolve operational matters.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the laboratory.
Key Requirements
- Minimum Nitec or Higher Nitec in Engineering, Fire Safety, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience in laboratory, testing, inspection, or engineering environments is advantageous
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Meticulous, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively in a hands-on laboratory environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
