Head of Sales - SEA

Reporting directly to the APAC President, this role serves as a key member of the APAC leadership team and is accountable for developing and executing regional sales strategies, driving commercial excellence, strengthening market leadership, and building a high-performing sales organization.

The incumbent will lead both the SEA Sales and Sales Engineering teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer centricity, and performance. Success in this role requires a highly strategic, inspirational, and commercially astute leader who can align diverse teams around a common vision while delivering sustainable and profitable growth.

Key Responsibiities

Strategic Leadership & Business Growth

  • Develop and execute the SEA growth strategy aligned with APAC business objectives.
  • Identify market opportunities, emerging trends, and competitive threats to strengthen i-PRO’s leadership position across the region.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to the APAC President on market developments, investment priorities, organizational effectiveness, and business growth initiatives.
  • Drive revenue growth, market share expansion, profitability, and long-term business sustainability.
  • Lead strategic planning, annual business planning, forecasting, and operational reviews across SEA.

Sales Leadership & Commercial Excellence

  • Own and deliver the SEA sales target, revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion objectives.
  • Drive consistent sales execution and KPI achievement across all SEA countries.
  • Establish performance standards, operating rhythms, and governance mechanisms to ensure predictable and sustainable business results.
  • Monitor sales performance, pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and business productivity.
  • Champion best practices in sales management, opportunity management, and channel development.

Leadership & People Development

  • Lead, coach, and inspire a geographically dispersed team of sales leaders, account managers, and sales engineers across SEA.
  • Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, customer success, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop leadership capabilities within the organization and establish a robust succession pipeline.
  • Drive employee engagement, talent retention, and organizational effectiveness across the region.
  • Create an environment that motivates individuals and teams to consistently perform at their highest potential.

Regional Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with distributors, channel partners, strategic customers, consultants, and system integrators (SIs).
  • Represent i-PRO at key customer engagements, industry forums, and strategic partner discussions.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product Management, Operations, Finance, HR, and other APAC functions to deliver business objectives.
  • Influence internal and external stakeholders to drive alignment and execution across multiple countries.

Sales Engineering Leadership

  • Provide strategic leadership to the SEA Sales Engineering organization.
  • Ensure technical resources are effectively deployed to support business growth and customer success.
  • Drive technical excellence, solution selling capabilities, and pre-sales effectiveness throughout the region.
  • Align technical strategies with commercial objectives to maximize business impact.

Business & Financial Management

  • Own the SEA P&L and ensure achievement of revenue, margin, and profitability objectives.
  • Allocate resources and investments strategically to optimize business outcomes.
  • Drive disciplined forecasting, budgeting, and performance review processes.
  • Deliver data-driven insights and recommendations to the APAC leadership team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering. Business Administration & Master's degree is advantageous.
  • At least 15 years of sales experience, preferably within the technology or security equipment sector.
  • Proven experience in managing P&L responsibilities across multiple countries.
  • Extensive knowledge of the CCTV/security industry with a strong understanding of market dynamics in the SEA region.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to mentor and retain top talent.
  • Strong business acumen with a strategic, proactive, and hunter mentality.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English. Additional languages spoken in the region are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the SEA region as required.
