Site Supervisor (Building)

Job Summary

The Site Supervisor (Building) supports the Site Agent by monitoring site progress and managing manpower to ensure timely, quality completion of construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and review the master construction program and develop catch-up programs to maintain project timelines
• Supervise Engineers and foremen to ensure compliance with quality procedures and workmanship standards
• Inspect subcontractors’ work for quality and quantity to meet project specifications
• Prepare detailed site programs for team adherence and timely completion
• Resolve drawing discrepancies and technical issues in collaboration with the Technical team
• Develop detailed method statements and work instructions to guide construction activities
• Coordinate between subcontractors, vendors, and internal departments to manage site manpower, materials, and equipment demands
• Liaise with Consultants on submissions related to structural works and technical requirements
• Plan site activities including scheduling, construction methods, and forecasting equipment, material, and manpower needs
• Control usage and minimize wastage of resources on site
• Enforce adherence to workplace safety practices
• Apply technical expertise in Foundation, Structural, and Building works
• Utilize Microsoft Project to manage and track construction schedules
• Apply knowledge of method statements to ensure proper construction processes
