Airport Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Airport Operations Manager to plan, manage, and oversee daily airport operations, ground handling activities, and aviation support services. The successful candidate will be responsible for operational planning, workforce management, resource allocation, service quality, and ensuring efficient airport operations in compliance with aviation safety regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plan, direct, and manage daily airport operations, ground handling activities, and aviation support services.

2. Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, safety, and service quality.

3. Oversee airport service schedules, manpower deployment, resource allocation, and operational performance.

4. Manage and supervise airport operations supervisors, ground handling personnel, and operational support teams.

5. Coordinate with airport authorities, airline representatives, ground handling agents, and business partners to ensure smooth operations.

6. Establish and implement standard operating procedures, operational policies, and performance standards.

7. Ensure compliance with applicable aviation safety regulations, airport security procedures, workplace safety requirements, and company policies.

8. Monitor operational budgets, manpower costs, resource utilisation, and cost-control measures.

9. Evaluate operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective operational solutions.

10. Manage client relationships, service agreements, and operational requirements to maintain customer satisfaction.

11. Oversee staff recruitment planning, workforce development, performance evaluations, and operational training requirements.

12. Develop contingency plans to manage operational disruptions, manpower shortages, service delays, and emergency situations.

13. Monitor the utilisation of airport equipment, operational facilities, and other resources.

14. Prepare management reports, operational performance analyses, and strategic recommendations for company directors.

15. Support business development, service expansion, and long-term operational planning initiatives.
