In-House Junior Legal Counsel (Tech Industry)

About our client

A listed freight tech company is expanding into Southeast Asia and looking for their first legal hire in Singapore. This is a broad, generalist role — you’ll handle day-to-day contracts, general corporate matters, and provide legal support to the business team as the company scales regionally.

What you’ll do

Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts and platform agreements
Provide day-to-day legal support for operations, compliance and corporate governance
Research and monitor laws and regulations across target markets in Southeast Asia
Handle employment matters, customer disputes and incident response as they arise
Manage external counsel and coordinate with the overseas HQ on legal matters
Develop compliance guidelines and support business teams on risk awareness

What we’re looking for

Law degree with 1+ year of legal experience (law firm or in-house)
Comfortable working in a lean, fast-moving environment
Proactive and able to work independently
