Bartender Supervisor

The bartender supervisor will assist Pub manager to oversee daily business operations, staff management, financial performance, and guest experience. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage our pub operations, ensuring exceptional service standards and creating memorable experiences for our guests. Operations & Floor Management: Ensure the pub opens and runs smoothly, manage daily customer flow, oversee front-of-house activities, and maintain high energy during peak service hours.

Staff Leadership: Train and schedule shifts (rotas), conduct performance reviews, and lead teams through busy shifts.

Inventory & Stock Control: Monitor stock levels, order food, drinks, and supplies, conduct regular stock-takes, and manage beer, wine, liquor, mixers, ice.

Financial & Cash Management: Handle daily cash management, track sales, oversee budgets and cash flow, and report performance metrics to management.

Compliance & Safety: Enforce health and safety regulations, ensure compliance with food hygiene rules, and adhere to local alcohol licensing and legal requirements.

Customer Relations: Greet guests, handle and resolve customer complaints effectively, and curate events or promotions to drive business.

Bar Counter Management: Serve drinks, mix cocktails, cleanliness of bar counter area, ensure waitresses deliver drinks to the right customers

Skills & Experience: Minimum 1 to 2 years of supervisory or management experience in hospitality, food and beverage, or pub operations.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, inventory software, basic accounting, bartending, cocktail mixing

Certifications: Valid alcohol service permits, personal license qualifications (where legally required), and food safety certifications.

Soft Skills: Strong communication, team leadership, crisis management, organizational capabilities, and a commercial, profit-driven mindset.
