About the Role

We are seeking an experienced High-Speed Digital & Photonics Applications Engineer across AI data centres, optical communications, semiconductor and high-speed interconnect technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical consultation and develop test and measurement solutions for high-speed digital, optical communications, silicon photonics and advanced memory technologies.

• Support validation and characterisation of optical transceivers (400G/800G/1.6T), SerDes, PCIe, Ethernet, DDR/HBM and AI interconnects.

• Develop measurement methodologies for signal integrity, jitter, eye diagrams, BER and compliance testing.

• Conduct technical demonstrations, proof-of-concept evaluations and competitive benchmarking

Requirements

• Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Photonics, Physics, Computer Engineering or a related field.

• 10+ years of relevant experience in applications engineering, design validation, product engineering or test and measurement.

• Strong knowledge of high-speed digital interfaces, signal integrity, PAM4/NRZ, SerDes, jitter and BER analysis.

• Hands-on experience with high-performance test equipment such as oscilloscopes, BERTs, VNAs and optical measurement instruments.

• Experience with optical communications, silicon photonics or high-speed semiconductor technologies.

• Strong customer-facing communication and technical problem-solving skills.

• Willingness to travel regionally across South Asia Pacific.
