Assistant Service/Test Engineer

This role is responsible for meeting the daily maintenance and repair needs of customers' equipment, establishing and maintaining proper business relationships with customers and peers as well as performing consultative and other administrative duties as required.

Key Tasks:

• Carry out planned service and maintenance of customers' generators.
• Lease with external departments and customers.
• Ability to perform accurate diagnostics and identify the cause of component failure faults and carry out breakdown repairs
• Carry out site surveys when required
• Comply with companies Health and Safety policies
• Follow up for PO from the parts customer quotation reference with the service reports
• Specialized mechanical skills and technical knowledge is required

Education

• Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Knowledge/Experience/Others

• Must have a strong customer focus
• Experience with mechanical/electrical engineering or diesel generator testing is preferred
• With understanding of diesel engine and/or generator technology is preferred
• Fresh graduate is welcome
