Sales Executive (Forwarding)

Job Purpose
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales Executive to identify new business opportunities, acquire new customers and grow the company's freight forwarding business. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new B2B accounts, maintaining strong customer relationships and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities in the freight forwarding industry.
Proactively prospect and acquire new B2B customers to expand the company's customer base.
Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Understand customers' shipping and logistics requirements and recommend suitable freight forwarding solutions.
Manage assigned sales accounts and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Coordinate with internal operations teams to resolve shipment-related issues promptly and minimise potential delays, additional costs and cargo damage.
Gather customer feedback, address service concerns and work with relevant teams to improve service quality.
Monitor sales performance and work towards achieving individual sales targets.
Requirements
Minimum 1–2 years of relevant working experience in logistics and supply chain, preferably in the freight forwarding industry.
Proven ability to develop new business accounts and generate sales leads.
Strong sales, negotiation, communication, and relationship-management skills.
Good understanding of freight forwarding services and the logistics industry.
Self-motivated, proactive and results-oriented, with a strong ability to acquire new customers.
Able to work independently and manage sales activities effectively.
