Job Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily installation, maintenance, servicing and repair works for CCTV surveillance systems, security alarm systems, access control systems, solar panels and related electrical equipment.
Lead, guide and supervise technicians and installation workers to ensure all assigned projects are completed efficiently, safely and according to company requirements.
Conduct site inspections and surveys to assess installation requirements for CCTV systems, solar photovoltaic (PV) panels, electrical wiring and related equipment.
Supervise and carry out the installation, testing and commissioning of CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, IP cameras, security alarms and access control systems.
Oversee the installation, mounting, wiring, connection, testing and maintenance of solar panels, solar-powered CCTV systems, solar charge controllers, batteries and related electrical components.
Supervise electrical wiring, cable laying, cable trunking, conduit installation, network cabling and electrical connections for security surveillance and solar power systems.
Perform technical troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, repair and preventive maintenance of CCTV systems, solar panels, power supply systems and related electrical equipment.
Ensure proper installation and connection of solar PV modules, mounting structures, inverters, charge controllers, battery storage systems and associated equipment where applicable.
Monitor daily work progress, manpower deployment, materials usage and project schedules to ensure timely completion of assigned installation works.
Read and interpret technical drawings, electrical wiring diagrams, solar panel installation layouts and equipment specifications.
Coordinate with project managers, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and customers regarding installation schedules, technical requirements and site operations.
Conduct regular inspections, system testing and quality checks to ensure proper functionality and performance of CCTV surveillance and solar power systems.
Ensure all electrical and solar installation works comply with applicable workplace safety requirements, technical standards and regulatory requirements.
Provide technical guidance, supervision and on-the-job training to junior technicians and installation workers.
Monitor inventory and ensure sufficient availability of CCTV equipment, solar panels, electrical cables, mounting brackets, tools and installation accessories.
Prepare and maintain installation records, maintenance reports, inspection checklists, service reports and project completion documentation.
Attend to customer enquiries, technical issues and service requests, and ensure timely resolution of installation and maintenance problems.
Assist management in improving work efficiency, maintaining service quality and achieving project completion targets.
Perform other technical, operational and supervisory duties as assigned by management.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant working experience in CCTV surveillance systems, solar panel installation, electrical works or related technical fields.
Proven hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of CCTV systems, solar photovoltaic (PV) panels and solar-powered security surveillance equipment.
Good technical knowledge of solar panel mounting, electrical connections, solar inverters, charge controllers, battery storage systems and associated electrical components.
Experience in CCTV installation, IP camera configuration, DVR/NVR systems, access control systems and security alarm systems.
Familiar with electrical wiring, structured cabling, cable termination, testing, commissioning and maintenance procedures.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, solar installation layouts and technical specifications.
Possess relevant supervisory experience with the ability to lead, coordinate and manage installation technicians and workers.
Good knowledge of workplace safety procedures, electrical safety practices and working-at-height requirements.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication and organisational skills.
Able to work independently, supervise multiple installation sites and meet project deadlines.
Physically fit and willing to perform site inspections, outdoor installation works and hands-on technical duties when required.
Willing to work overtime, weekends or public holidays according to project requirements.
