Conveyancing Lawyer / Legal Associate

We are seeking a motivated, responsible and detail-oriented Conveyancing Lawyer / Legal Associate to join our legal practice.

The successful candidate will handle residential and/or commercial conveyancing matters, including sale and purchase transactions, refinancing, redemption and other related property matters. The candidate should possess good knowledge of Singapore conveyancing procedures and be able to manage files efficiently, work independently and ensure the timely completion of transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle residential and/or commercial conveyancing matters, including sale and purchase, refinancing and redemption transactions.
• Draft, review and prepare conveyancing documents, agreements, letters and related legal correspondence.
• Advise clients on conveyancing procedures, contractual obligations and related property matters.
• Liaise with clients, banks, financial institutions, property agents, opposing solicitors and relevant authorities.
• Monitor transaction timelines and ensure proper documentation and timely completion of matters.
• Conduct legal research and attend to property-related legal issues where necessary.
• Maintain accurate file records and provide timely updates to clients on the progress of transactions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and professional requirements.
• Undertake other legal duties as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent recognized legal qualification.
• Admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore.
• Relevant conveyancing experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with Singapore conveyancing procedures and documentation.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and time management.
• Ability to manage files independently, prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
• Responsible, proactive and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
