Design Engineer (AutoCAD / Inventor – Semiconductor)

Location: Tampines / Pasir Ris | 5-Day Work Week

Our client, an established engineering services company specialising in semiconductor and high-technology industries, is seeking Design Engineers to join its engineering team.

The company provides engineering solutions involving semiconductor tooling, specialty gas systems, cleanroom facilities and related engineering projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate 2D and 3D engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.

• Collaborate with engineers to translate design concepts into practical, manufacturable drawings.

• Prepare and revise technical drawings according to project requirements and engineering specifications.

• Participate in site surveys, take measurements and update drawings to reflect actual site conditions.

• Liaise with project engineers and project teams to consolidate drafting requirements and design revisions.

• Provide feedback and recommendations on engineering standards, specifications and procedures.

• Coordinate the issuance, distribution, filing and document control of engineering drawings.

• Ensure accuracy, consistency and proper documentation of drawings and technical records.

• Assist with engineering-related documentation, administrative duties and other assigned tasks.

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related engineering discipline is preferred.

• Proficient in 2D and 3D CAD drafting using AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Inventor.

• Familiarity with semiconductor tooling, mechanical components and machining processes.

• Able to interpret engineering drawings and translate technical requirements into practical designs.

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and engineering design principles is advantageous.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings and documentation.

• Good communication and coordination skills to work with engineers and project teams.

• Design visualisation skills will be an added advantage.

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

• Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Rest Days: Saturday and Sunday

Salary & Benefits

• Monthly Basic Salary: S$2,400 – S$4,500

• Variable Bonus (subject to company policy)

• Meal Allowance (non-fixed, subject to eligibility)

• Transport Allowance (non-fixed, subject to eligibility)

• 5-Day Work Week
