E-Learning Coordinator ( 3 months contract)
SINGAPORE INSTITUTE OF DIRECTORS
We're looking for a E-Learning Coordinator for an initial 3-month contract, renewable depending on workload and how the permanent coverage question resolves. We need someone with a solid, practical grasp of how e-learning content gets built, a good eye for design, and the coordination skills to pull content from subject matter experts and turn it into something people can learn from.
You'll report to the VP, IT and coordinate with the Programme Lead within Professional Development on anything touching the Learning Management System itself.
Key Responsibilities
E-Learning Content Development
- Work with existing LMS vendor on e-learning modules from existing workshop and training content: structuring the material, managing and adapting on-screen text, and assembling it into a working SCORM package and uploading it to LMS.
- Review or create interactive elements such as quizzes, reflections, and scenario-based activities that keep learners engaged.
- Work with subject matter experts to understand their content and turn it into something learners can follow without the expert in the room.
- Incorporate video and other media supplied by SID into the finished modules.
Design
- Ensure SID's brand guidelines consistently across all e-learning materials: colours, typography, and layout.
- Ensure designs are clear and uncluttered on-screen layouts that make content easy to follow on both desktop and mobile.
- Produce supporting visual assets (icons, simple graphics, slide templates) as needed, using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Keep a consistent visual style across modules so the learnerexperience feels like one coherent library, not a patchwork of one-offprojects.
Coordination & LMS Support
- Coordinate review sessions with stakeholders, gather feedback, and revise modules accordingly
- Upload and configure finished modules in SID's Learning Management System, working with the Programme Lead, Accreditation & Professional Development where platform-level changes are needed.
- Test modules before launch to confirm they work correctly and meet SID's quality bar.
- Keep a simple, clear record of what's been built, what's in progress, and what's still needed, so the work is easy to hand over at the end of the contract.
What We're Looking For
- Diploma or degree in instructional design, multimedia design, graphic design, education, or a related field.
- Min 2 years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience building SCORM-compliant content with an authoring tool such as Articulate Storyline/Rise, Adobe Captivate, or iSpring.
- A good eye for visual design and comfort applying brand guidelines consistently across materials.
- Experience coordinating with subject matter experts or stakeholders to turn source content into finished material.
- Ready to work by November
