Social Worker (2-year contract with conversion to a permanent position)

Reporting To: Senior Social Worker/ Heads of Programmes &/ or Director (Clinical Services)

Location: Ang Mo Kio/ Yishun

• You have proven skills in relating to clients and building rapport with individuals of all ages.
• You are resilient and persevering in dealing with clients in the most difficult, painful situations.
• You make yourself available to clients and go the extra mile, especially in times of distress.
• You are a team player, open to close supervision and receiving training on the job.
• Recent graduates with relevant qualifications and a deep interest in practising social work in a demanding area may also apply.

Requirement

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science (Social Work), Degree or Graduate Diploma in Social Work is a requirement.
• Certification in “Introduction to Family Violence”; “Management of Family Violence” and cognitive behavioural therapy, family-centered social work practice will be an asset, although not essential.
