Project Management Officer/PMO (Project Governance/Banking)

Develop comprehensive business cases and Applications for Approval (AFA), including business plans and cost-benefit analyses for project funding.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to define project objectives, funding requirements, and expected business outcomes.
Present and clarify AFA submissions to governance committees and approval forums, ensuring compliance with local and global standards.
Manage end-to-end change governance processes for system enhancements and implementations.
Ensure all system changes receive the necessary approvals, sign-offs, and governance clearance before deployment.
Coordinate with stakeholders across business and technology teams to facilitate effective project governance and change management.
Act as the primary liaison with Head Office to align local project portfolios with corporate strategies, governance frameworks, and reporting requirements.
Monitor governance adherence and support project teams in meeting organizational standards and compliance requirements.

Minimum 8 years of experience as a PMO, Project Manager, or Business Analyst within the banking or financial services industry.
Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies and change management frameworks.
Proficiency in project and governance tools such as Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
Experience preparing business cases, funding proposals, or Applications for Approval (AFA).
Proven experience managing project governance, change governance, and approval processes.
PMP certification is an added advantage.
PRINCE2 certification is an added advantage.
Scrum Master certification is an added advantage.
