Appian Developer

We are seeking an experienced Appian Techno-Functional Consultant to design, develop, and deliver enterprise-grade BPM solutions using the Appian platform. The role requires a strong blend of business analysis, solution design, and hands-on Appian development, working closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Techno-Functional Delivery

• Lead end-to-end Appian solution design and implementation for client projects
• Translate business requirements into Appian workflows, process models, and interfaces
• Develop and configure SAIL interfaces, process models, records, integrations, and reports
• Ensure solutions follow best practices, scalability, and performance standards

Business & Stakeholder Engagement

• Work with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and refine requirements
• Conduct workshops, solution walkthroughs, and demos
• Provide functional consulting on process optimization and automation

Technical Development

• Build and maintain:Appian Process Models & WorkflowsSAIL UI componentsIntegrations with external systems ( REST/SOAP APIs) Data models and records
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and performance bottlenecks

Governance & Quality

• Ensure adherence to Appian best practices, coding standards, and governance
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and release management
• Maintain proper documentation (e.g., BRD, FRD, Solution Design, Test Cases)

Key Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 5 years in IT, with at least 2+ years in Appian / Low-Code
• Proven experience in end-to-end Appian implementations for client projects
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in: Appian BPM Suite ( Process Models, SAIL, Records, Reports); Appian Integrations ( Web APIs, Connected Systems); Appian Data Fabric / Records
• Working knowledge of: SQL / relational databasesREST/SOAP APIsVersion control and CI/CD practices

Functional Skills

• Strong understanding of: Business Process Management (BPM)Workflow automation and optimization
• Ability to convert business needs into technical solutions

Certifications (Preferred)

• Appian Certified Senior Developer / Lead, or any relevant Low-Code certification
