SAP Analytics Cloud Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) stories, dashboards, data models, and analytical applications.
• Develop customised SAC applications using scripting and advanced analytics capabilities.
• Integrate SAC with SAP HANA, SAP BW, SAP S/4HANA, and external data sources.
• Assess SAP application readiness for cloud migration and identify technical gaps and dependencies.
• Support the migration of on-premises SAP applications and analytics solutions to Microsoft Azure and cloud-based environments.
• Develop and execute migration plans, including system testing, validation, deployment, and post-migration support.
• Collaborate with cloud infrastructure, application, security, and compliance teams to ensure secure and compliant cloud implementations.
• Implement appropriate identity and access management (IAM), data protection, and encryption controls in accordance with organisational security requirements.
• Monitor and optimise analytics application performance, scalability, data accuracy, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAC applications, data integration, and reporting.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, solution specifications, migration plans, and implementation records.
• Perform unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and implementation support.
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and deliver effective reporting capabilities.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, project status meetings, and stakeholder discussions to track progress and resolve delivery issues.

Required Skills and Experience

• Hands-on experience in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) development, including stories, dashboards, data modelling, and analytical applications.
• Experience with SAC scripting and advanced analytics features.
• Knowledge of SAP HANA, SAP BW, SAP S/4HANA, and integration with external data sources.
• Experience in SAP application or analytics platform migration from on-premises environments to cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and cloud migration concepts.
• Experience with data validation, data quality management, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of business intelligence and visualisation tools such as Tableau.
• Experience with SQL, database objects, ETL processes, and data integration.
• Understanding of security controls, IAM, data encryption, and enterprise compliance requirements.
• Experience with unit testing, SIT, UAT, deployment, and production support.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
