Job Summary

Join our Central Engineering Group as a design engineer to develop foundation IP for AI products, including memory compilers, logic cells, and custom macros using cutting-edge process technology.

Responsibilities

• Validate custom memory macros and memory compilers through comprehensive memory design verification
• Perform functional verification to identify and resolve design discrepancies effectively
• Conduct signal integrity analysis to detect design weaknesses and propose corrective solutions
• Execute transistor-level simulations to identify and resolve Power Up or Lock up issues
• Perform EM/IR analysis and simulations to assess timing impact and internal margins
• Validate timing and internal margins via transistor-level simulations, identify characterization gaps, and implement fixes
• Conduct quality assurance and validation checks to ensure accurate timing and power models
• Develop automation scripts to streamline verification workflows and data analysis
• Support silicon debugging and correlate findings with spice models
• Collaborate with memory designers to enhance memory characterization and validation processes
• Coordinate with memory design leads, modeling leads, and managers to plan and execute memory validation activities

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Understanding of transistor-level circuit behavior and device physics to support design validation
• Knowledge of signal integrity, EM/IR, and reliability analysis to improve design robustness
• Proficiency in running simulators and writing automation scripts to enhance verification efficiency
• Familiarity with memory behavioral and physical models is advantageous
• Expertise in memory circuit design is a plus
• Understanding of DFT schemes and chip-level integration is beneficial
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to facilitate teamwork and project coordination
• Self-motivated with the ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment
• Passion for solving complex problems and eagerness to learn new technologies

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
